About Wingate by Wyndham Greensboro
The Wingate by Wyndham Greensboro is an upscale “Built for Business”
hotel and perfect for any getaway. We are located at I-40 and
Wendover, centrally located between downtown Greensboro and
the Piedmont Triad Airport.
Our all inclusive pricing features use of our outdoor pool,
indoor whirlpool and exercise room, 24 hour business center
equipped with free high speed internet, 24 hour coffee service,
FREE hot breakfast with over 42 items, free local and 800 telephone
calls, and free wired and wireless internet in all guest rooms
and throughout the building. Our oversized guest rooms also
feature a spacious work desk, microwave and refrigerator, hairdryer,
iron and ironing board, in room safe, two telephone lines and
cordless telephone and pay movies and games are available. We
also have over 65 television stations, same day dry cleaning
service, free guest laundry and free shuttle service to and
from Piedmont Triad Airport. We have a meeting room accommodating
up to 40 people and, in addition an executive style boardroom
accommodating up to 12 people. Our meeting rooms offer all inclusive
pricing with a white board, flipchart, TV/VCR, overhead projector
and screen. We offer high speed internet in both rooms and throughout
the building.

Lauren Gibson...General Manager
Our General Manager, Lauren Gibson has a diverse background
in the hotel industry including Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott,
Holiday Inn and with Travel Tourism degree from Johnson and
Wales University. Lauren originally grew up just outside of
Philadelphia and has several professional training certifications
through Educational Institute. She is currently on the
fast track to becoming a CHA in the Hospitality Industry.

Melissa Overbey...Director of Sales
Our Director of Sales, Melissa Overbey originally grew up outside
of Washington, DC and has called this area home for over 12
years. Melissa has been involved with catering and The International
Home Furnishings Market for several years before making the
move to the hotel business. Melissa has cutting edge sales training
through Janie Wiltshire and Crestcom courses.

Inn and 4 diamond hotels in California and the Phillipines.
